The Family Holiday.

We are going on holiday. We are going on the swimming pool and the waterslides. We go to a big hotel with big beds eveywhere and the people give us breakfast in our hotel house. We go to the beach and play games and buy toys.
And my mum is going and I’m going and cousin Courtney (she’s so cool) and my Auntie Sam and my cousin Logan and Liam and Lewis. And when we get back it will be Liam’s birthday. He will be seventeen.
We are going in the aeroplane and I will sit next to my mum and Courtney. I am taking my Squishy with me. And I have no sandals and my mum is going to buy them for me. They are going to have little flowers on them and little straps. My mum is going to sunbathe and me and my cousin Courtney is going to play in the pool. But she needs an armband or a floaty, but I don’t.
She can talk now and she doesn’t need a baby chair any more. And she went to her new house and she saw her new bedroom and she seen her new bed and she said “Minnie Mouse” because she has Minnie Mouse covers on her bed. And guess what she has in her bedroom? See her closet, it has a mirror on it and you need to slide your hands along it and it opens. Open Sesame! She has lots and lots of toys and she has this number doggie which learns you how to read and do numbers. And it actually does read it for you. And I have it as well.
I am going to bring my little number dog with me for Courtney to to play with. And it has books as well. The doggie is purple just like my squishy unicorn. The holiday is fun.
I was there when I was five years old. Alcudia. I am going there when I’m ten. I’m already ten. We are going for a nice walk with my cousin and my whole family to the beach. Courtney is two. There is a big snake slide and it has parrots and everything. When I was five I held the parrot. It was white and rainbow coloured and maybe tealy coloured black.
I am going to bring all my toys with me and when we get back it’s going to be really fun because it’s going to be my brother’s birthday. We get birthday cakes. We are going somewhere nice for his birthday. We are going to sing “Happy Birthday” to him. When we get back from the beach, I am going to ask my mum if my cousin Courtney can come round and play with me in our hotel room.
When I was five I got my hair braided in Alcudia.

Ellie’s Adventure

The view. We sat down on top of Dumyat with Fraser and Alexander and Macy and Tehya and Aiden and Mr Antolak and Mrs Smith. Mark took us up the mountain.
I fell eleven times and I got up eleven times. I fell on a rock. My eye was bruised.
I had chocolate sandwiches, pickled onion crisps, my banana, my lolly and my drinking yoghurt.
We saw brown cows. We climbed over a thousand feet. I would like to go back.

Being Happy.

When I come home from school, I get Lexie and I get her blanket and wrap her up in her blanket. When she isnt wrapped up I clap her eye and her face to get her to get to sleep. And when she wakes up we play. This makes me happy.
My heart tells me I’m happy. It makes good noises like boom boom boom. My heart makes me feel happy.

Whales.

I went to see a whale show.It was doing tricks and a little girl was on it. They did cool tricks. They dived in the water with their heads down in the water.
They are fun to play on. They let water out their backs. They are really clever. They need air to breathe and they need to exercise. They live in the cold oceans: very very very very cold oceans.
The big water comes out the little hole that is called a blowhole. They are very very clever. They eat millions of krill.

The Guard Dog

Lexie is my doggie. She is a Jack Russel and she is little. And she’s four in our years not in dog years.
Lexie wanted to be guard dog. I fed her water just like a little baby. She couldn’t be a guard dog because she was too small. She is too cute. She is too smart. Too happy. She lets me hold her and rub her tummy. She likes to play with socks. She is too Chrismasy.
I put her Christmas jumper on her then I took her outside. Then I taught her how to be a guard dog. She shakes my hand and she sits like a kangaroo. I put her in my baby buggy. I put my hairband on her. I put my baby jacket on her. I take her for walks but my brothers don’t. My mum says to tell them to take her for a walk. They say “Oh no, no.no. We want to play our game”.
Santa came with Rudolph the red noised reindeer and a reindeer called Comic. The reindeers taught her how to be a guard doggy. She climbed up Dumyat. She got to the top and when she got up the top she did press-ups.
I dressed her up as Pudsby. I put stars on her pudsby outfit. We made some pictures. Christmas pictures. Two Santas came. We went camping. I taught her how to count. I gave her a bone because she was a good girl.
When I woke up, she was lying on top of me and then she fell off the bed. I took her to school. I took her into the classroom. She was happy. All the people in the classroom were happy to see the baby doggie. I took her upstairs to Miss Cruickshanks classroom.
Then the snow came through the window and the roof. Then Santa and the reindeers came in through the windows and the roof. He took everyone to the North Pole. They saw an elf. She went in Santa’s bed. She fell asleep on Santa’s tummy. His tummy went up and down. And he was snoring. Then Santa woke up. And he said, “You can drive my sleigh tonight, Lexie. Lexie went “Woof woof woof woof woof”.
Then a cat came. “You can drive my sleigh too”, said Santa.
“Miaaaw.” Said the cat.
The next morning, Lexie disappeared. Then she came back to Santa for ever. Lexie and Ellie.
